Amateur Racing

In Support of Amateur Racing.

When the National Steeplechase Foundation was incorporated in 1995, it was and still is dedicated to fostering national and international amateur sports competition in the field of steeplechase racing.

Your continued support will help the TGSF develop incentives along with opportunities and skills training for amateurs. Because the amateurs of today are the professional trainers and jockeys of tomorrow who will, ultimately, make a day at the races still possible for owners and the thousands of spectators alike.

As funders of the TGSF, you help support the development of amateur athletes with the hope that they will be part of the efforts needed to take American jump racing farther into the 21st century and beyond.

Each year, the TGSF allocates funds that it raises through your donations for purse supplements in races held at the Cheshire Hunt Races, My Lady’s Manor, Grand National, Foxfield, Winterthur, Willowdale, Shawan Downs, Callaway and others as race meets are willing to host.
